The next figurine from our collection is this Antique 1950s Goebel Hummel Figurine entitled "Waiter" #154/0 TMK2 FULL BEE. This Goebel collectible features a dapper young boy dressed as a waiter, expertly balancing a tray and a bottle of wine with a glass in his hands. He is a charming tribute to the hospitality and traditional culinary culture of the Alpine region!
This Hummel figurine stands about 6-1/2" tall and was first modeled by Master Sculptor Arthur Möller in 1943. This particular piece features the TMK2 FULL BEE Goebel trademark on the bottom, which dates it firmly back to the 1950s. Identified as #154/0, it showcases the early color update of the 1950s with its vibrant blue coat and tan striped trousers.
As you can see in the pictures, it is in EXCELLENT condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs! There is some minor age-related crazing, but that is to be expected on a piece of this vintage nature and adds to its authentic character. This "Waiter" Hummel figurine would make a great display piece or a standout addition to the M.I. Hummel Master Collection!
