📦 Shipping, Holiday Delivery & Museum-Grade Packing

1. What are your shipping rates and holiday processing times?

We offer Free Standard US Shipping on all orders over $150 (automatically applied at checkout), as well as fast, fully insured global delivery to collectors in Canada, Europe, Asia, Australia, and beyond! Most orders are carefully hand-packed and dispatched from our Howell, Michigan gallery within 1–3 business days (or up to 5 business days during peak holiday volume). You will receive an email with your tracking number the moment your parcel is on its way. Read our full Shipping Policy.

2. How do you pack fragile porcelain and woodcarvings so they don't break in transit?

Having safely shipped thousands of delicate collectibles worldwide for over 21 years, we engineer every package using our 3-Stage "Vault" Packing Standard:

  • Conforming Small-Cell Bubble Cushioning: Every piece is hand-swaddled in multiple layers of small-cell bubble wrap to protect delicate extremities—such as Hummel umbrella handles, hand-rolled Lladró porcelain flower petals, and carved ANRI shepherd staffs.
  • Double-Box Suspension Engineering: For our rarest, oversized, and most fragile sculptures, we utilize a reinforced "box-within-a-box" buffer zone that isolates your heirloom from transit shocks.
  • High-Visibility Fragile Labeling & Full Insurance: Every parcel is clearly labeled and fully insured from our Michigan vault to your door.

🛡️ Authenticity, Condition Grading & 30-Day Guarantee

3. Are your vintage figurines really free of chips, cracks, and repairs?

Yes—100% guaranteed! Unlike general online auctions and flea markets, we never sell pieces with chips, cracks, missing petals, or glued restorations. Every Goebel M.I. Hummel, Royal Doulton, Spanish Lladró, Italian ANRI woodcarving, and Waechtersbach piece is clinically examined under high-intensity studio lighting to verify the vibrancy of the hand-painted brushstrokes and mineral color palettes, the fiery crimson depth of the Flambé glaze, and the warm texture of the natural Alpine ANRI wood grain. Every order is protected by our 100% Satisfaction & Authenticity Guarantee and 30-Day No-Hassle Returns.

4. What do your three condition grades (MIB, Mint, and Excellent Vintage) mean?

  • 🎁 Mint in Box (Shop Original Box Vault): Flawless, factory-fresh condition complete with its original factory presentation box, fitted vitrine case, or Certificate of Authenticity.
  • ✨ Mint Condition: Physically pristine with zero chips, cracks, repairs, or crazing—offered without the original factory box.
  • 🏺 Excellent Vintage Condition: Beautifully preserved estate examples with zero chips, cracks, or structural repairs, showing only the gentlest natural signs of age (such as light base shelf wear or faint age crazing common in mid-century glazes).

🐝 Backstamps, Trademarks & Model Identification

5. How can I identify the age, trademark (TMK), or mold number of my figurine?

Visit our free Collector’s Resource Center! For Bavarian Hummels, launch our Interactive M.I. Hummel TMK Backstamp & Age Finder to date your piece from the 1935 TMK-1 Crown and 1950s TMK-2 Full Bee to modern releases, and decode size suffixes like 2/0, /0, /I, and /V. You can also search all six of our Master Model Indexes at the bottom of this page.

6. What does an "M/" mark (like M/2250 or M/4000) or "AP" mean on the bottom of an ANRI woodcarving?

On Limited Edition Italian ANRI woodcarvings from St. Christina in Val Gardena, an impressed M/ prefix (such as M/2250 or M/4000) stands for Muster (German for Master Sample)—a scarce pre-production carving painted by senior studio finishers as the visual benchmark for the guild painters or for exhibition at international trade fairs. AP denotes a hand-signed Artist Proof (frequently signed in ink by Chief Master Carver Ulrich Bernardi). Explore live examples in The Ultimate ANRI Woodcarving Archive and The Rarities Vault.

🎁 Holiday Gifting, VIP Discounts & Home Placement

7. I'm buying a gift for a collector—how do I avoid buying a duplicate they already own?

We make gift-giving effortless and risk-free with three collector-favorite tools:

8. Do you offer a welcome discount or VIP collector code?

Yes! Click the VIP Vault tab on the side of your screen to join our collector mailing list and receive code VAULTVIP for 10% Off your order, plus early alerts on newly unlocked estates in Shop All New Arrivals.

✨ Curator’s Placement Tip: Whether you are staging a matched pair of Bavarian Hummels inside an illuminated Grandmillennial curio cabinet, anchoring a dark walnut Grandpa Chic library shelf with a signed ANRI woodcarving, or displaying a crimson Flambé sculpture on a mahogany Executive Home Bar, explore our Interior Design & Heritage Styling Lookbook Hub for room-by-room inspiration.

💵 Selling Your Collection, Sourcing & Location

9. Do you buy or consign private Hummel, ANRI, Royal Doulton, or Lladró collections?

While we currently operate on a waitlist for standard general consignments, we offer Priority Fast-Track Evaluation for ultra-rare individual pieces, early TMK-1 Crown & TMK-2 Full Bee Hummels, Hummel Century & Hummel Club exclusives, ANRI Prototypes & 24k Gold-Leaf Editions, and Royal Doulton Flambé. Review our benchmarks on The Vault Acquisitions & Consignment page.

10. Can you help me find a rare sold-out figurine—and do you have a storefront in Howell, Michigan?

Yes! If a piece you love is currently sold out, submit your request through The Collector’s Concierge Sourcing Service—we continually unlock private estates and will notify you as soon as a pristine example passes inspection. We operate exclusively as a specialized online gallery in historic Howell, Michigan (without a walk-in retail storefront), allowing us to keep our climate-controlled vault secure and ship worldwide.
