A Commemorative Tribute to a Beloved Rainy-Day Classic
Celebrate six decades of Bavarian porcelain artistry with this special 60th Anniversary Goebel Hummel figurine, "Stormy Weather" (Model #71/2/0, known in German as "Unter einem Dach")! Originally sculpted by master artist Reinhold Unger in 1937, this heartwarming scene captures a young boy and girl huddling close together under a big, protective umbrella to weather a passing shower. Issued in 1995 under the TMK-7 trademark to honor the 60th Anniversary of M.I. Hummel figurines (1935–1995), this distinctive edition features a warm golden-yellow umbrella accented with the M.I. Hummel facsimile signature along the back rim of the canopy! ☔👧🏼👦🏼🇩🇪✨
Exquisite Craftsmanship & Color Palette: Standing approximately 4-3/4" tall, this commemorative treasure is a wonderful showcase of Goebel's hand-painted brushwork and expressive modeling. Every detail is rich with character—from the honey-yellow and amber-shaded ribs of the oversized umbrella to the little girl's braided pigtails tied with orange bows, her burgundy bodice, rust-toned skirt, and pale yellow-and-green apron dotted with delicate orange crescents as she clasps the curved umbrella handle. Beside her, the young boy steadies their journey with a textured wooden walking stick, dressed in deep forest-green lederhosen with brown suspenders, a plum jacket, and a windblown orange neckerchief. Complete with the incised M.I. Hummel signature and the bilingual "Unter einem Dach / Stormy Weather" title mark on the rear of the base, it is in EXCELLENT condition with absolutely no chips, cracks, or repairs. ✨ Place this heartwarming commemorative edition on a cozy entryway console, a sunlit living room bookshelf, or inside a lighted glass curio cabinet to bring warmth to even the cloudiest day!
